The band’s breakthrough moment came at the inaugural 2002 Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, Tennessee, where they outsold every artist on the bill including Widespread Panic, Trey Anastasio, and Norah Jones, performing before nearly 100,000 people. Since then, Umphrey’s has evolved into the headlining act and organizer of the annual Summer Camp Music Festival held at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois, solidifying their status as leaders in the jam band community.
